resuming my group art project

Back from class, holiday travels and general business, my fellow group art collaborators and i started back up last night.

To change the pace, we decided to meet at a bar and do 8 small pieces. We each had a turn on the piece, then after 15 minutes passed it on. Worked out very well.

We went HERE my new favorite bar.
The bartenders seemed pretty happy to have us there, which was great. Also, the night before a group of people drew all over their walls with chalk. After being told NOT to do that, since the staff would have to spend lots of time scrubbing it off the walls, they got beligerent and called the cops after they left the bar. There were even accusations of racism when they got tossed out.

Needless to say, the staff thought it hysterical that we came in the following day and drew on paper.

We are so going back to the Argonaut. I'd highly recommend the place, and the staff was very cool.

Wow, those are amazing! I was at the Argonaut the other night too- if I had seen people drawing I would have definitely come over to talk to you guys.

Very neat project and blog.

hi t.
thanks for the comments. its actually been over a year since we've done this project. actually, nearly two years now.

it was meant as a catalyst during the slow cold months and has inspired each of us to be very very productive since. when we slow down, or get in a rut, we'll start it up again.

thanks for checking out my sie.
