Music Is Bulletproof, and what it means to be a man.
A little over a year ago, some friends and i were working on a group art project every monday night at the argonaut on h ne.
Our waiter and cook, a guy that always came out and talked to us and encouraged us in our project was Quile Morales.
One night after work, as he was walking his girlfriend home, Quike was attacked and shot in the face. Its a miracle that he lived.
Quike recovered amazingly fast. His rebound and determination is inspiring.

been mostly out of town
i'm still here.
this has already been a busy year, though its looking like it may be slow for the next couple of weeks.
I had a solo show up in January and February.I have a piece up in a show right now! . I exhibited at Flux and set up shop at the DC counter culture Festival. I took a "research trip" to new york to visit the Etsy Labs ( which i 'd like to open in DC), and to see the galleries in Chelsea. I just got back from a very intensive week long painting class in Louisville, KY.
I'll be posting some of my work as some as i go take some good pictures of it.
i'm also trying to organize my first event for the washington sculptors group.
